Raising Money to Save Lives

Starts with You

Hey there! So what? Why should you be interested in our tournament? All the details are below. For those who want the cliff notes, here goes…

Grant & Lucia. An adorable 4 year old little boy and the cutest 5 year old little girl you’ll find. Both of these innocent children have been battling cancer since before they can remember. It angers us. It’s absolutely not fair. Chemo. Hair loss. Steroids. Weight gain from steroids. Even considering death at that age is just unacceptable. This is the reason for the season. Every 3 minutes another person is diagnosed with a blood cancer. Every 9 — someone dies. The #1 Killer of children under 19 is blood cancer. Leukemia. Lymphoma. Myeloma. You Have Cancer are words no one wants to hear. Your child has cancer may be the worse of all.

Now, meet Hudson. A 15 month old boy born with an extremely rare genetic disorder called Partial Trisome 11q and 14q. With only 45 cases of this syndrome in literature, this family was grieving the day of Hudson’s birth and when most other parents of a newborn are celebrating. Children’s Hospital was the place and Dr. Rosenbaum was the doctor who was able to serve as angels on earth for this family as they worked through all the tests and labs to determine what baby Hudson’s condition is. This family is lucky. Many families don’t get answers as quickly as the Roberts.

This is the reason for our golf season!

We have 2 amazing charities who enable the families and patients who are battling to find some sort of normalcy while also uncovering groundbreaking research in the race for a cure!

There are thousands of Grant’s, Lucia’s and Hudson’s in this world who need our help. The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society and Children’s National Hospital offer that help. We have set up a tournament that will not be outdone by others! A beautiful course, water views, celebrities golfing alongside of you, great sponsors, professional caddies, lively entertainment (DJ, Live band), networking, fun contest holes, great schwag, and amazing volunteers! We have it all. We need you to help us raise the critical funds.

We hope to see you on June 3rd!

“Healing a child’s body, mind & spirit takes more than medicine,” according to Children’s. Children’s National affects more than the child, too. They support the entire family. LLS affects more than the families directly affected by cancers. They affect entire communities.

We cannot be more excited to support these amazing charities.
